It's 2025 and this is still my favorite part of yearly appointments. I got the classic scrambler as usual and it was delicious. I can't wait to come back next year! If your looking for a spot to have a breakfast that has wonderful herbs and seasonings this is the spot! Thank you again for a good breakfast! I'll see yah next year! Past 2 years, 2023/2024, I come here in the winter time between Dr appointments. It's what I look forward to. The food as always was amazing and a great portion size for the price. My waitress was amazing and very friendly. The gravy was the most memorable followed by the really well seasoned potatoes and finally the eggs which where soft and kinda creamy. Dec 2025 I will be coming back for the 4th year in a row with an appetite like no other.

Fantastic find! The restaurant is in an older historical house. The atmosphere was quaint with plenty of vegan and vegetarian options. I have only eaten here once; however, I am looking forward to going back and trying other menu items. The service was great! I would definitely try again.

I will be back and bring new guests! We arrived in the 9am hour so it was slow. The front staff/server Amber was great and the chef was great too, because the food was GREAT. The menu is diverse with a lot of tempting options. I ordered the Spicy Breakfast Scramble, one pancake, and my partner ordered the Southwest Omelet. Both entrées were generous with the jalepeños, which I don't mind. The Breakfast scramble is really cheesy and awesome. There was a bit of extra crisp burned house potato on the bottom that was tasty. I thought it was done like that on purpose to add flavor - I liked it. I wish I would have got a pancake to-go because it was super good. It wasn't a totally fluffy cake. It had some thickness in the middle which I appreciate. The soda was good. Everything was really great here.

To find delicious vegan food while traveling is akin to the stars aligning. Unfortunately, that means I won’t get back anytime soon (or ever), so I’ll be dreaming of this tofu scramble. Everything was excellent. I need to point out that the chairs at the tables next to the front window are absolutely the most comfortable restaurant seating my butt has ever enjoyed. Seriously, I’d buy one of those chairs.

Gem of a place! Lots of seating. Stairs are in some areas. Vegan options. Gluten-free options. I got the Denver omelet and it was phenomenal. Hot tea was lovely. Service was fast and very pleasant. Lovely decor. I will come here anytime im in Dayton! 🥰

If a restaruant was person with a big heart. Butter cafe is it. Our server Tenisha made us feel right at home with her knowledge of the menu as this was our first time dining. From the season flavored Lattes to the Spicy Breakfast Scramble with Steak instead of Chrizo, don't judge me. Lol My wife had the Queen Charlotte's vegatable scramble but you know birds of feather flock together, she added the chopped bacon with a side of sauage.

Super cute café. Excellent service. Atmosphere was amazing. Christmas decorations throughout. The café is inside of a house with tables on different levels. The food was delicious 😋. We'll be back. Highly recommend 💚💯💯

Just found a new favorite breakfast place! The menu was amazing. So many choices and lots of vegetarian and vegan options which made me so happy. I got the Jalapeno Popper omelet and the vegan bacon. Everything was delicious! And they have Diet Coke which makes this a perfect place. Our server Gabriel was great! He kept my diet coke coming and was an awesome server. Will definitely be back. If you haven't been here you need to check it out!

Stopped by Butter Cafe for brunch since we're off this week for the holiday season, and given we'd normally be at work, figured heck let's stop by on a laid back Monday. The space is authentic, pure mom n pop personality with unique and cozy decor that you could tell the place was formally a house converted into a cafe. No corporate vibes here The food tasted fresh with generous portions and absolutely delicious. Had a Maryland style crab cake sandwich with an aioli sauce that balanced out the favors. Crab cake had a nice crunch in the outside while the crab meat was moist on the inside. My wife had the Paris omelette that had caramelized onions, mushrooms, goat cheese, and she added jalapenos. Also had some creamy potatoes that was almost like they boiled the potatoes to make them soft followed frying them for some crunch effect. Nice touch The service was sincerely friendly as well. We'll be back for sure!
